Ever since I began studying psychology and business management, I have been captivated by the stories and achievements of numerous companies. His story inspires me to set ambitious goals and strive towards them.

Mr Dilip Shanghvi's journey from a small room in Kolkata to the pinnacle of Sun Pharmaceuticals is a testament to the power of determination and hard work. He is a well-known Indian businessman who founded Sun Pharmaceuticals and is among the wealthiest individuals in the country. In 2016, the government of India honoured Dilip Shangvi with the Padma Shri.

In 1983, with a minimum investment of Rs 10,000, Dilip Shanghvi founded Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Limited. His initial focus was on psychiatric drugs, and he began by working out of a single room in the by-lanes of Kolkata. Shanghvi's hands-on approach and commitment to quality quickly set Sun Pharma apart. His journey from a small room to a global pharmaceutical giant is inspiring.

As previously mentioned, I enjoy reading business stories. When I read about Dilip Shanghvi's struggles and strategies, which have led to great success, I was amazed and had to look them up online.

He owns the privately held Serum Institute of India, headquartered in Pune. His son, Adar, helps him manage the institute.

Cyrus Poonawalla's establishment of the Serum Institute of India in 1966 and its subsequent growth into the world's largest vaccine manufacturer (by doses) is truly impressive. During the Covid pandemic, the vaccine most commonly used in India was Serum's Covishield, which was created by AstraZeneca and Oxford University. His contribution to public health is nothing short of remarkable.

When my parents were watching a news channel I saw his interview, aired during the pandemic amid the urgent need for mass vaccination. His company’s performance statistics were so impressive that I couldn't resist researching the different challenges he encountered and the praise he got. Following that day, I continued to monitor the company's updates on many platforms. This personal connection with his story made me feel more engaged and interested in his success.

Cyrus Poonawalla's remarkable contribution during the COVID-19 pandemic will always be remembered as the greatest achievement.

I learned about him through various news articles and interviews and his significant contributions to the Indian and global business landscape.

Mr. Ratan Tata exemplifies visionary leadership, ethical business practices, and unwavering commitment to social progress, which will always inspire emerging business persons and entrepreneurs.

Answer: Many qualities, such as effective communication, strategic planning, and financial management, are key to running their businesses. However, people need to understand how management and planning work, as they are the most integral parts of any actively working organisation.

Answer: I would start a home decor business, as a significant part of my generation is developing an obsession with aesthetics. I'd like to collect historical paintings and antiques to decorate my room.

Answer: As a commerce student who understands the intricacies of business management, I believe that each individual's contribution, whether in a different department or within the same team, is crucial for a business's success.

Question: What must one give up to succeed?

Answer: To succeed, people frequently must give up their leisure time and maybe even their comfort. This entails giving up certain leisure activities and allocating more time to work or study.

Question: Which is more likely to be successful, family businesses or large corporations?

Answer: It’s hard to say, but family businesses and large corporations can succeed. It depends on how well they manage their resources and serve customers.

Question: Could you give any instances of family-run enterprises in your nation?

Answer: My nation has many family-run enterprises, including large corporations, restaurants, and small stores. These companies are vital to our communities and are frequently handed down through the generations. The Ambani family is one of the largest corporate families in India; they operate in nearly every industry, including retail, oil, telecom, and even the manufacturing of defence equipment.

To conclude, the speaking component has the same weight as the other components of the IELTS exam, so you must practise adequately to handle this area.
