He is a well-known Indian businessman who founded Sun Pharmaceuticals and is among the wealthiest individuals in the country. In 2016, the government of India honoured Dilip Shangvi with the Padma Shri.
In 1983, with a minimum investment of Rs 10,000, Dilip Shanghvi founded Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Limited. His initial focus was on psychiatric drugs, and he began by working out of a single room in the by-lanes of Kolkata. Following that day, I continued to monitor the company's updates on many platforms. This personal connection with his story made me feel more engaged and interested in his success.
