GMAT Exam Registration 2024

The first and most important thing to do before appearing for the GMAT is its registration. You can easily register for the GMAT through an online portal. The GMAT exam is given several times a year. As a result, there are no set GMAT exam dates.


Candidates should register for the GMAT Exam at least three months before the scheduled date. Candidates may take the GMAT no more than once every 16 calendar days and no more than five times in a rolling 12-month period. In addition, the GMAT can be taken eight times in a lifetime.


GMAT Registration Fee 2024

The GMAT registration fee in India is around USD 275 (about Rs. 23,000) for the GMAT exam to be held at a test centre and USD 300 (approximately Rs. 25,010) for the online GMAT exam.

Process to Book for GMAT Exam Online Registration 2024

GMAT registrations typically take 30 minutes to 45 minutes if completed in one sitting. If the candidates are unable to complete it in one sitting, they can save it and return to it at their convenience. Now, let’s explore the process of online registration for the GMAT exam.


Step 1: Go to, the official GMAT website.

Step 2: The candidate must create an account over there.

Step 3: Provide your contact information, such as your name and address.

Step 4: Provide your academic and professional information.

Step 5: Check and submit your information.

Step 6: Make an appointment for your exam. Choose your nearest or preferred GMAT test centre, followed by an exam date.

Step 7: Once you've decided on a day, you'll need to decide on a time for your exam.

Step 8: Pay the GMAT registration cost using a debit or credit card online.

GMAT Slot Booking

Candidates are free to take the exam whenever they choose throughout the year. The crucial thing to remember is that applicants can only reschedule their next attempt after 16 days of taking the previous one. A candidate is only permitted five attempts in a calendar year. As the number of applicants grows each year, it is advised that you do not wait until the last minute to register for the GMAT.   • Phone: Candidates can also make appointments by phone by phoning the GMAT Customer Service in their region. Candidates must pay a US $10 premium to schedule the exam over the phone.   

  • Postal Mail: Candidates can pay by cheque to schedule the GMAT exam.


Eligibility for GMAT Exam Registration 2024

GMAC has not established any precise eligibility requirements for GMAT 2024 registrations. However, here are some key aspects to consider:

  • Age Limit: There is no upper age limit for registering for the GMAT 2024 exam. However, there is a lower age limit of 18 years or older to take the GMAT exam. Candidates between 13 and 17 may also register for the GMAT exam with a signed GMAT Parental Consent/Authorization form (NOC from legal guardians or parents). 

  • Language Requirement: Students from any country can register for the GMAT exam. There is no requirement that their schooling or higher education be conducted solely in English. 

  • Academic Background: Regarding GMAT registration to a student's academic background, no minimum academic qualification is required to register for the GMAT 2024 exam. Furthermore, there are no restrictions based on your undergraduate degree grades. 

  • Job experience: No minimum job experience is required for students to register for the GMAT exam.

Following your GMAT registration, you will schedule your GMAT exam dates. Before you book your GMAT exam dates, there are a few crucial things you should think about: 

  • Intakes for Study Abroad: There are three primary study abroad intakes: Fall Intake, Spring Intake, and Summer Intake. Students should be aware of the courses and specialisations available in these intakes. Furthermore, candidates must understand the admission rates, class profile, GMAT cut-offs, and so on for various intakes.
