The University of East London (UEL) was set up in 1898 as West Ham Technical Institute. It gained university status in 1992. UEL is a public research university located in the heart of London. The university has three amazing campuses in London city. The name of the campuses is Stratford Campus, Docklands Campus, and University Square Stratford campus. UEL works with the motto of ‘Scientia et votorum impletio (Latin), which translates to ‘Knowledge and the fulfilment of vows’.
