A spouse’s visa is a form of permission that often allows you to stay in the country, but it usually comes with a long list of requirements that must be met in advance. Unfortunately, being married does not always qualify you for a spousal visa. The main concern of many countries before issuing a spouse visa is whether the connection is genuine or if it is just a ruse to allow someone to enter the country. Before the spousal visa is issued, you may need to prove that you are a real couple, including attending interviews.
