Describe a time when you observed the stars - sample Answer 1

Introduction

Stargazing is quite an amazing experience that everyone should have at least once in their lives. People generally like watching stars on clear nights in areas with less population and pollution. Away from the city lights, the sky is illuminated by the shimmering lights of uncountable stars in a clear sky.

When did you observe the stars?

I used to look at the stars during my school vacations when I went to see my maternal grandparents in a nearby town with my cousins.

Where and with whom you went with?

During the summer vacation, my mother and I travelled to a village near Ahmedabad to visit my maternal grandparent’s home. That night, after having lunch, we went to the terrace. The sky darkened, and it was a full moon night. It was a mesmerising view with the wind, full moon, and starry sky, which left us amazed.

What did you observe?

My cousins and I were in awe of the sky. I questioned my mother why the moon appeared more significant and why the stars twinkled so small. Then my grandfather taught me that stars are giant, but since we gaze at them from a considerable distance, they appear to be very small to our eyes.

And explain how you felt when you saw the stars.

While stargazing, I felt happy and was wondering about the vastness of the universe. It was a peaceful and interesting experience, and I lost track of time while buried in thinking. It was one of those fascinating childhood vacation memories.

Conclusion

It was a wonderful time as we were star gazing, and I had quality time with my family.
