Aga Khan Foundation Scholarship

The Aga Khan Foundation offers limited scholarships to students who wish to pursue postgraduate studies, such as a master's degree. These students must come from developing countries that cannot finance their studies by other means. The study in USA scholarship is awarded on a 50% grant and 50% loan centre and conducts a competitive application process.   1. Amount for the Scholarship – For Canada, the scholarship amount is CAD 5,000 and for USA, the scholarship amount is USD 10,000.

  2. Eligibility for the Scholarship – To be eligible for the scholarship, you must

    • Have a high school diploma or equivalent

    • Intend to be enrolled or accepted as a full-time student in a bachelor's, masters or doctoral degree. Study program at an accredited university in the United States or Canada.

    • Be studying computer engineering, computer science, or closely related technical courses from USA.

AAUW International Scholarships

This scholarship is provided by the American Association of University Women (AAUW) – to women only – to promote equity and education for girls. It is offered to women who are not U.S. citizens or non-permanent residents applying for full-time research, job or study. More than 3,600 women from over 150 countries have benefited from this scholarship over the past few years. For Indian women, this could be one of the best MS scholarships in USA to apply.

  1. Amount – 18,000 USD for a master’s degree or a first professional degree. The amount can be used for tuition, living expenses and dependent child care. Up to five Masters/First Professional Degree scholarships will be renewed for the second year.

    • Being a citizen of a nation other than the USA.

    • Hold a university degree equivalent to the American baccalaureate

The scholarship was launched by the British Council in 2015. In 2002, Mr. Narotam Sekhsaria established the Narotam Sekhsaria Foundation which is "dedicated to supporting India's brightest in their pursuit of higher education". The scholarship is for deserving students who wish to pursue postgraduate studies in India and abroad. The bursary takes the form of a bursary loan that the student must repay according to the schedule established by the organization.

  1. Scholarships Amount – The highest amount of the interest free loan scholarship is RS. 20 Lakhs.

  2. Eligibility for the Scholarship – To be eligible for the scholarship, you must –

    • Be an Indian national residing in India

    • Be under 30

    • Must be a graduate from an accredited Indian university. Final year students can also apply.
