Canadian Commonwealth Scholarship and Fellowship Plan

  • This fellowship is for students enrolled in Bachelor’s, Master’s, and MPhil degree programs in recognised Indian universities or institutions who desire to do research in their preferred areas/fields in a Canadian university scheme identifies students with high intellect from Commonwealth countries applying to programs of advanced study and research at the Master and PhD levels.

Ontario Graduate Scholarship Program

  • The grant includes travel, living expenses, and mandatory school costs.

  • It includes the Graduate Students Exchange Program (GSEP), which provides $10,000 for transportation, housing, and other expenses in Canada for 5-6 months. The program is available to graduate students in various disciplines. 

  • Students must accept an offer from an Ontario university and obtain a valid study permit before applying. 

  • The scholarship is $5,000 per session. You may receive $10,000 (two consecutive sessions) or $15,000 (three consecutive sessions). However, the unit will only cover one-third of the cost.

  • Each award is valid for a year (two to three academic sessions). The value and length are decided by the granting graduate unit information, which will be included in your offer letter.

  • The current or proposed graduate unit sets deadlines. 

  • Each grant is valid for one year (two consecutive or three academic sessions). The size and length of each OGS grant will be established by the award unit and stated in the offer letter.

National Research Council of Canada (NRCC)

  • Research associateships are offered to students with a master’s degree in engineering and a Ph.D. in natural science or engineering disciplines.

Quebec Provincial Government Scholarship

  • It offers financial help to students pursuing master's degrees or above.
