Italy Study Visa Update | Things to know after reaching Italy

Necessary Things to Know Before Moving to Study in Italy

With various places to explore, enjoy, and study, Italy is considered one of the best destinations for international students to pursue their higher education. Italian universities are amongst the oldest in the world and have a global reputation for high academic standards. Every year, more than 90,000 international students choose Italy as their study abroad destination.

There are various international students who are ready to go to Italy for the September intake. These are some important things that they need to know before moving to Italy:

  • Apply for a residency permit: After going to Italy, international students must apply for a residency permit within 8 to 10 days by going to the nearby CAAF office. After getting the receipt of a residency permit, they can easily take benefit of various services in Italy such as getting a waiver in public transportation as a student, discounts in public canteens, and health-related services.

  • Submit an application for an ISEE statement either online or physically with the regional scholarship office.

  • Report to the university’s international desk, from where the process of further enrolment starts
