Keep in mind that a student visa is only valid for a limited time and must be renewed every six months or one year. As a result, a visa officer must have confidence in your ability to return to your home country when your approved stay expires. Previous travels, family connections in Canada and the nation of residency, and what the aim of this visit is could all lead a visa officer to deny your application.
