In order to compete successfully in a global market, modern manufacturing companies must have the ability to integrate electronics, control, software and mechanical engineering into a range of innovative products and systems. Graduates of this programme will have this interdisciplinary knowledge, skill and approach to engineering. Many engineering employers offer well-paid summer placements and, in some cases, sponsorship. You will be able to apply to spend one year of your academic studies abroad at an accredited partner university. MEng students will also be able to work on their final-year project at overseas institutions. Graduates will have the interdisciplinary approach necessary to integrate electronics, control, software and mechanical engineering.
