As an education student at ARU Peterborough, you'll have the opportunity to develop your knowledge of a broad range of professional practice areas within early childhood learning and development including social, psychological, cultural and sociological factors.Practical experience is fundamental to the development of your core professional skills, so you will have the opportunity to undertake professional placements alongside your studies, which can be in a paid or voluntary capacity (subject to agreement by the Early Childhood Placement Tutor). There will be opportunities for you to focus research on specialist areas of interest within early childhood.
