Brunel University London was founded in 1966 and is based in Uxbridge, near north-west London. It's one of the UK's most ambitious, forward-thinking universities, with a strong emphasis on post-graduation employment. Brunel alumni presently have the 13th highest starting salary in the UK after graduation, with slightly under 13,000 students from over 100 nationalities.

Almost all courses are available as a four-year'sandwich,' with one year of work experience before graduation, and a £400 million investment has recently been completed to create an exciting state-of-the-art campus with world-class teaching, social, and sporting facilities for students. At the start of the academic year, a Heathrow Airport Welcome Service will assist students in finding Brunel.

Brunel University London is divided into three colleges and three major research centres, as of August 2014, when the university's name was changed to Brunel University London. Brunel has about 12,900 students and 2,500 employees, with a total income of £200.7 million in 2014/15, with grants and research contracts accounting for 25% of the total. The College of Engineering, Design and Physical Sciences, the College of Business, Arts and Social Sciences, and the College of Health and Life Sciences are the three academic colleges that make up Brunel University. Brunel is a member of Universities UK, the Association of Commonwealth Universities, and the European University Association. QS World University Rankings 2022 and Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2022 both place the university among the top 400 universities in the world. The university received the Queen's Anniversary Prize in 2011.

Brunel University London provides international students with a variety of services aimed at assisting them with their academic, personal, and social lives while at the university.
