Birkback welcomes student application without traditional entry qualifications, as the selection is based on the assessment of their knowledge and previous work experience. For post-graduate taught courses, the IELTS requirement may vary for a few courses a minimum of 6.5 (with no less than 6) is required. While for a few courses, a minimum of 7 (with no less than 6.5) is required.
For TOEFL, the standard requirement is 79, while some courses may require a minimum score of 94.
For PTE, the standard requirement is 62, but some courses may require a minimum score of 68
If any students cannot fulfil the English Requirement, then they can enrol for the pre-sessional English courses and foundation program at the university.
