This is the most prestigious scholarship at Aston University available for postgraduate students. It is awarded to students who have achieved exceptional academic results and can demonstrate a passion for their subject through professional work experience, volunteering, or extracurricular projects and activities.

Global Ambassador Scholarship

Scholarship amount £3,000

This scholarship is available for 25 students who can represent Aston on the global stage and tell future generations of students what Aston is like. To avail of this scholarship, the student must be an active social media user with an aim to become an international social media influencer. As well as after receiving the scholarship, students will be given priority consideration for paid work with the international marketing and recruitment team, which will provide valuable work experience.

This scholarship is designed to attract the brightest and best female students to study at Aston University. The scholarship will be awarded to students who demonstrate their commitment to engineering, which could be demonstrated by academic achievement, work experience, volunteering or extra-curricular projects and activities. Successful applicants will also demonstrate their enthusiasm, pride and ability to represent Aston University and share their experiences with others.

Ferguson Scholarship

The University provides 7 Ferguson Scholarships exclusively for the students of Africa and India. These scholarships are supported by the Allan and Nesta Ferguson Charitable Trust which is dedicated to improving educational opportunities for students who would not otherwise be able to consider studying in the UK. The scholarship is only available for the students applying for selected postgraduate taught programs, including MSc Cognitive and Affective Neuroscience, MSc Drug Delivery, MSc Pharmaceutical Sciences, MSc Pharmacokinetics, MSc Stem Cells & Regenerative Medicine, MSc Psychology (Conversion programme), and MSc Health Psychology.
