The qualifying score for applicants in the unqualified category was as follows:
NEET 2021 – 138 points
NEET 2020 – 147 points
NEET 2019 – 134 points
NEET 2018 – 119 points
NEET 2017 – 131 points respectively.
An important fact to consider is that as we go through the ratings in descending order, the number of candidates who get those ratings increases. For example, the number of candidates scoring in NEET exam 681-690 is 18; however, those that get 551-560 are 19967-23501.
Previous year trends of NEET brands vs. ranking
The number of NEET candidates taking the test is increasing every year. For example, around 16 Lakhs applicants registered for NEET 2020 while 15 Lakhs applicants registered for NEET 2019. This will impact the NEET Marks Vs Rank.
In 2020, NEET's highest score was 720 out of 720. NEET-UG 2020 had the highest scores ever. While in year 2019, the highest NEET exam score was 701.
