Study in Italy without an ITR | Italy Study Visa Update | Study in Italy 2023

Proof of Funds for Italian Student Visa

Planning to study abroad on a decent budget? Undoubtedly, Italy is one of the most affordable countries for higher education. It is home to some of the oldest and top-ranked universities in the world. International students can get scholarships in Italy up to 100%. Before moving to study in Italy, internationals have to apply for a student visa. While making an application for the visa, students have to attach all the documents that are mentioned by the embassy in their checklist.

According to the checklist of the Italian embassy, students also have to attach documents as proof of income. Generally, students have to use the ITR (Income tax return) as proof of funds. Many a time, students have enough funds, but they do not have the sources of funds to show. So, in case the students do not have ITR, then they can show the other sources of income. The funds that students are showing must be available in the bank account and not in cash.
