Eligibility for Bachelor’s Courses in Germany

In order to study undergraduate courses in Germany, generally, international students require 13 years of education. After completing 12th from India, students can enrol for a pre-bachelors course in Germany to complete the education of 13 years and become eligible for bachelors. Students can also pursue 1 year of bachelors in India and then enrol in a German university. Also, if the students have cleared JEE mains and advanced, then it will be considered equivalent to 13 years of education.

Whereas few German universities accept international students’ applications with 12 years of education. These universities include the course module of pre-bachelors in the first year of a bachelor’s. The minimum overall 60% percentage in the relevant subject in 12th and English proficiency test score is a must to enrol for a bachelor’s degree in Germany.
