Cleveland State University- Duolingo Acceptance

Cleveland State University is a public research university with 10 colleges in Cleveland, Ohio. The University offers more than 175 programs at an affordable structure. It has an approximately 95% rate of acceptance for international students. The university provides a friendly and diverse environment for international students. They offer various popular courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels including Business, Social sciences, Life sciences, Engineering, and Psychology.

Earlier, Cleveland State University stated that they are going to accept the Duolingo (English proficiency exam) till the fall 2022 intake only. But, a recent update has come which stated that the university has again started accepting the Duolingo test for all the courses. 

The minimum grade point average (GPA) required is 3.00 on a 4-point scale. This means a student must have 70% or above in his senior secondary to get admission for the undergraduate courses. While the minimum grade point average (GPA) required is 2.75 on a 4-point scale. This means a student must have 60-65% or above of his 4-year bachelor’s degree to get admission. Also, the students must have to appear for any of the English proficiency exam like they can appear for Duolingo.
