The University is well recognised as a nurturing environment for enterprising minds, approaching its 50th year.
Bath provides a diverse mix of engineering, design, scientific, business, humanities, and social sciences programmes. Academic programmes are designed to give a strong intellectual challenge as well as real-world applicability, allowing students to work with researchers who are experts in their fields.
Bath was named The Times and Sunday Times Best Campus University in 2014, thanks to its vibrant campus on the outskirts of town that offers exceptional sporting, social, and cultural opportunities. All of the basic neighbourhood services, including lecture halls, libraries, shops, banks, and a post office, are within a five-minute walk of your University of Bath apartment. In the spectacular Sports Training Village, which is home to Olympic medalists, Bath has invested more than £100 million in new student housing, artistic facilities, academic buildings, and a new Olympic-quality swimming pool.
The University of Bath is a high-achieving community where you may earn the information, skills, and experience you'll need to succeed in a globally networked world.
Undergraduate students who apply by the deadline will be assured on-campus housing for the first year of their studies. Postgraduate students from outside the UK who have not previously studied at Bath will be provided off-campus housing for up to one academic year. On-campus, there are almost 2,000 self-catering rooms, and a further 1,000 rooms are available in the city centre.
The rooms of the students are placed in clusters around the communal kitchen/dining areas. Students can choose between single-sex and mixed-gender kitchen groups, as well as regular, big, or en-suite rooms. Each residential area has a staff of on-site resident tutors who are accessible to offer assistance and direction to all residents.
