Dr Tim McNamara developed the OET test with assistance from the Australian National Organisation for Overseas Skills Recognition (NOOSR) in the late 1980s. To be eligible for the OET test, candidates must carefully follow the qualifying requirements listed below.

• Healthcare experts show their English language skills so that they can work or study in the healthcare area in countries like Ukraine, Australia, Spain, Canada, Singapore, Maldives, Qatar, Malta, Philippines, Namibia, New Zealand and so on.

• You may only take the OET exam in the United States, the United Kingdom, and the United Arab Emirates.

• Age Limitations for OET Exam: According to CBLA, there is no upper age limit for the OET exam, and there are no age restrictions for candidates who want to take it.

Candidates must register on the OET website to take the exam. Candidates may only proceed with their online OET application by registering on the official OET website and creating an OET login on the approved OET website.

• Exam Centres: The OET is regularly offered throughout the year in more than 120 locations across 40 countries. In the same way, OET is offered twice a month or twenty-four times a year in renowned Indian towns. 

• Test Booking: To secure a spot for the OET exam, candidates must register and select the suitable exam mode, exam centre, and exam date.

• Exam Fee: Candidates must pay the OET exam fee to register for their OET exam. The OET test costs INR 33,632 in Indian rupees (1 AUD = 56.83 INR) and offers various services. The fee is AUD 587.
