The University of Chester was founded in 1839, making it one of the country's oldest educational institutions. It can be found in Chester, England. In Latin, the university's motto is "Qui docet in doctrina," which translates to "He who teaches, on teaching."

Across its campuses (Parkgate, Kingsway, Queen's Park, Riverside, Thornton, University Centre Shrewsbury, University Centre Reaseheath, Warrington), the University of Chester provides over 120 undergraduate and 80 postgraduate degrees. The University of Chester comprises eight colleges, including the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, which was acquired in 2013 from the Shell Technology Centre in Thornton.

The University has six campuses and a University Centre in Shrewsbury. The 32-acre (130,000 m2) Parkgate Road field, Chester, is found on Parkgate Road, simply north of town Walls. it's a mix of Victorian buildings (such as recent school, left, which incorporates a chapel designed by a number of the first students within the 1840s) and trendy buildings (such because the Students' Union). Accommodation

International students are assured housing in University of Chester dormitories if the accommodation deadline is met. Students will have the option of staying in a converted Victorian house or a modern purpose-built facility, which will be available on a full-board, semi-catered, or self-catered basis. The cost of a week's stay starts at £85. (single room, all utilities, Wi-Fi).

For the third year in a row, the University of Chester has been named the safest city-based institution in the region (The Complete University Guide 2017), and all housing is either on campus or adjacent to the University.
