Lancaster University Management School (LUMS) is Lancaster University's management school in Lancaster, England. The school first opened its doors in 1964. MBAs, PhDs, and post-experience executive education are among the disciplines offered, which span from undergraduate to postgraduate degrees. Lancaster University's MBA programme is frequently ranked among the best in the world by the Financial Times.
Lancaster University Management School (LUMS) is one of only a few schools in the world to have received quadruple accreditation from the AACSB, AMBA, and EQUIS organisations.
Lancaster's teaching staff consists of both practitioners and academics, ensuring that you receive practical results that are relevant to you. You can study individual modules as short ten-week courses or programmes in addition to full programmes. Many companies have partnered with LUMS to create customised executive education. AstraZeneca, BAE Systems, Bass, British Airways, Pilkington, Rexam, Royal & Sun Alliance, and Total have all been partners. The Lancaster University Management School has collaborated with a number of government agencies, including the NHS and the UK Cabinet Office. The school also provides business help and information transfer for small and medium firms in England's North West region through its Department of Entrepreneurship, Strategy, and Innovation. In 2014, LUMS received a Small Business Charter Gold Award.
In 2005, LUMS joined with Ernst & Young to offer undergraduate accounting and finance degrees, in which students learn how to manage money.
Lancaster University's specialised International Student Advisory Service provides information on acquiring visas, travelling to Lancaster, budgeting, and pre-arrival information to international students.
Before the start of the semester, there is an airport pickup service from Manchester Airport. Pre-sessional English courses, as well as foreign foundation programmes, are available for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
Lancaster University's residence halls have won 'Best University Halls' in the National Housing Student Survey for the past six years, and they are one of only three other institutions to receive the International Accommodation Quality Mark, which is given to institutions where international student satisfaction is at least 90%.

The scholarship is given out based on academic performance and the student's ability to succeed in their selected Management School course.
