The overall aim of this course is to equip graduates with the skills and knowledge to enable them to pursue a professional career as a Chartered Building Surveyor within the built environment. As a Building Control Surveyor, you will be part of an extensive network of over 3,500 professional public service surveyors responsible for ensuring buildings are safe, healthy, inclusive and efficient, and meet the standards set by the Building Regulations. You will be part of the planning, development and valuation of built environment projects. You will develop a wider understanding of the built environment process required to become a built environment professional/practitioner and have the opportunity to progress both professionally and academically.
