What is the Full Form of SSB?

The full form of SSB is the Service Selection Board. The Indian Army, Indian Navy, and Indian Air Force are the three branches of the armed services. The Service Selection Board, a five-day continuous selection procedure, is supervised by officers of the Indian Armed Forces. An SSB board of assessors comprises personnel of the Indian Armed Forces who have specialised in group task officers, interviewing officers, and psychology.

The Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force each have thirteen Service Selection Boards. Five days are dedicated to the (SSB) review process. The post below has information about the whole SSB form.

Full Form SSB

The Service Selection Board, in its complete form, is the main body responsible for assessing applicants for positions as officials in the Armed Forces. The Board employs a thorough and fair examination process, which includes insight tests, personality assessments, and interviews, to ascertain the eligibility of an applicant to become an official.

The Service Selection Board is a continuous five-day recruitment officer selection process. Each day is dedicated to a specific assessment aspect, from the screening test on the first day to completing various duties on days three and four. The thoroughness and importance of the SSB process cannot be overstated, making it an important step for those wishing to join the Indian Armed Forces.

The Procedure of SSB

Examining a candidate's personality, psychology, and suitability for an officer role are all part of the procedure. The candidate faces a different challenge and task every day for the five days. The applicant selected is the one who passes every level with the necessary grades. We've discussed the day-to-day responsibilities and challenges in addition to the SSB complete form.

Day 0

This is the reporting day on the specific day of service selection. The verification process starts when the candidate arrives at the company and submits the required paperwork.

Day 1

On Day 1, the first stage of testing is carried out. This includes two cognitive tests and a picture perception and description test. As part of the exam, the candidates are shown a picture for thirty seconds, either clear or fuzzy.

Day 2

Day 2 assignments include composing a picture tale or taking a test on thematic perception. It is like the PPDT but with a sharper picture. Again, the applicants see a visual for thirty seconds, after which they have four minutes to compose a narrative.

Day 3 and Day 4

On days three and four, candidates are given various tasks to perform within the specified time. These tasks include both solo and group assignments. An interviewing officer then conducts an individual interview.

Day 5

On the last day, each candidate has a formal consultation with a panel of officers. During this short talk, the officers assess the candidate's life-based competencies. The outcome is ultimately announced based on the candidate's overall performance.
